The true story of a Boy Scout who had to grow up overnight.
A true-based story by Dr. Robert Niklewicz seeking a producer for a dramatic motion picture or TV mini series…
The story’s hero is a Polish Boy Scout who refused to join the Hitler Youth and instead he seeks and joins the Polish Partisan fighters. The distinctions between the two Youth organizations set the motivation for the Flame. Compare the two philosophies and see why the NAZI’s wanted to exterminate the Scouting program as a priority during their invasion and into the future.
“The Oath of the Polish Boys Scouts and Girl Guides” taken at ages 11-15 years:
“It is my sincere wish to serve God and Poland with the whole of my life. To give willing help to others, and to obey the Scout and Guide Law.”
Motto: “Czu waj”…Be Vigilant (Be Prepared).”
Now compare the Polish Oath to the “Oath of the Jungvolk” (Young People’s Oath) taken by ten- year-old boys upon joining the Hitler Youth:
“In the presence of this blood banner which represents our Führer, I swear to devote all my energies and my strength to the savior of our country, Adolf Hitler. I am willing and ready to give my life for him, so help me God.”
Motto for boys: “Live faithfully, fight bravely, and die laughing. We were born to die for Germany.”
Dr. Robert Niklewicz captures the chilling wartime experiences of his father Stanislaw, who at 14 years of age, took on the German occupiers that had turned his life and home into a hell on earth. The innocence of a teenager, thrown into a man’s existence as a Polish Partisan is an example of the human urge to be free.
The young Stanislaw demonstrated his uncanny luck and tenacity when he fought the best way he knew how during those early and horrible times. However, to do more he had to escape to the forests of Poland and fight as a Partisan. The price he would pay would be the loss of a typical carefree and joyful teenage existence in exchange for fighting for his country and his young life.
A true story of: Action-Intriguve-Suspense
Codename: FLAME delivers rich storytelling and hard-hitting events:
The story is based on the energy, emotions and stubbornness of a teenager making a pivotal decision in his young life. Stanslaw (Staszek) was determined to do what he felt was his only way to resist the overwhelming power and numbers destroying his home and life. That solution was “simple”, he would go into the woods and once he got there he would figure something out. Which he did, with a little help from equally determined men and boys.
Codename: FLAME would be a compelling motion picture or Mini Series.
The story is riveting, dramatic and unique. The Protagonist focus of the story is intense and shows courageous intent by someone so young. The experiences are seen through the eyes of a young teenager who was determined not let the invaders of his country defeat him. While at the same time the story of the Miller family was seen in parallel as they fought as Non-combatants but soldiers in their own way.
Consider this story as a blend of the
Movies “Defiance” AND “Come and See”.
